[Ben] I have teeth again! says: Drop-bears and hoop snakes aren't real, though Joy says: XD [Ben] I have teeth again! says: They're a nation-wide conspiracy against foreigners. Joy says: Thanks for that Ben. [Ben] I have teeth again! says: ^^ [Ben] I have teeth again! says: They're a giant Australian joke for anyone from America or Britain. [Ben] I have teeth again! says: 'cos it's fun to watch Yanks avoid trees. Joy says: rofl Joy says: Do people actually fall for it? [Ben] I have teeth again! says: Yup. Joy says: That's amazing. [Ben] I have teeth again! says: One of the teachers I went to school with was in the Army reserves. [Ben] I have teeth again! says: They were out with a British unit [Ben] I have teeth again! says: And when they were digging trenches, they put all their dirt behind the trench, while the Poms put theirs in front [Ben] I have teeth again! says: When the Poms asked about it, my teacher and his unit said "So when the hoop-snakes roll down, they hit the dirt and fly over the trench. If the dirt wasn't there, they'd fall straight in." [Ben] I have teeth again! says: The next day all the British trenches had their dirt moved behind.
Nooo moooore college classes until January.
-No more scapegoats ("Please don't make this due tomorrow, Mrs. Yarchi... I have a 5-page paper to do tonight for my History class") -No more Sign Language D: -No more 5-page papers (except for English) -No more actually studying for tests (except for Calc) -No more annoying driving back and forth, rushing in the afternoons and driving home tired in the nights -No more class rules and schedules that actually make sense
Next quarter I'm signed up for ASL 2 and Medical Anthropology, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Which works out well because I won't have to bother D'Ann to change my work schedule (it took her about two months to change it the first time...).
Anyway. Winter yay! One more week of school! Then winter break will go by in a flash and all I'll have to look forward to is spring break. Meh. (Optimism? What's that?)
~Joy feels lazy.
