Nananananananana NaNoWriMo!
It's that time of year again...

Between the time in my free bell and barely 20 minutes before school in the morning, I was almost able to achieve the 1666 (and two thirds) words I need to write each day to keep up. If I work hard and I'm not lazy, I seriously could accomplish this even with my schedule being the way it is.

I'm at 1767 words right now. I have a whole post-it pad full of ideas, not bad ideas either, but I haven't settled on one thing yet. Right now it's the beginning of a story set in the not-too-distant future, about a girl and something or other about gender roles. It's crappy at the moment but the idea is just to write and eventually I'll get into the groove of things.
(That's the idea: looks good on paper at least...)

So is anyone else doing it this year? Casey, Omi, Lu, hm? Join in the anguish with me, to give up before Thanksgiving. Wooo!
